ISLE OF MAN, UK  28 MAY 2009 – PokerStars is gearing up both on and off the tables for another record breaking World Series of Poker at the Rio hotel in Las Vegas starting this Thursday,
PokerStars remains the best place not only to qualify for a seat, with numerous benefits available to PokerStars players, but also to keep track of all the action in the Amazon Room via the PokerStars blog.

Already close to 900 PokerStars players won satellites and a seat on PokerStars.com, with hundreds more likely to join them before the main event starts on July 3.

As has become the norm the PokerStars blog will be on hand to report on everything that takes place both on and off the tables. Finally, over the first four days of the main event up to 500 players each day will be able to register online to play special freeroll single table tournaments worth $4,000. The top five places will win cash amounts while each STT winner will be invited to play an additional event for PokerStars passport stamps valued at around $15,000 each, which can then be used to buy packages for any PokerStars sponsored live event around the world.
